As a businessman he operated 8 Beauty Spas, 3 hotels/inns, and 4 restaurants locally as well as a Canadian Spa and Inn on Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick, Canada. He had many television appearances showing his artistry in hair design and was the winner of many awards in his industry.
Mario was a successful leader in the Beauty Industry, bringing the latest seasonal hairstyling trends from Europe to Ohio. He studied his craft in Chicago and Toronto, and was the former U.S.
Mario was well-known as the owner and operator of Mario’s International Spa, Hotel, & Restaurant. He was a resident of Aurora for 40 years, previously of Brecksville and Maple Heights, and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish, where he was active as an usher. He graduated from John Adams High School in 1949, and then the Cleveland Academy of Cosmetology. Mario was born in Cleveland on Septemand passed away on May 9, 2022.
